Formed in Moscow in 2013 but currently all living outside of Russia, Lucidvox add elements from folk songs and krautrock to distorted psych rock riffs, creating a swirling, ritualistic mix. For their upcoming album That’s What Remained, the quartet – Alina Evseeva (vocals, flute, keyboards), Nadya Samodurova (drums), Galla Gintovt (electric guitar) and Anna Moskvitina (bass) – bolstered their sound with brass, strings and a children’s choir for heightened, liturgical intensity.
