Multidisciplinary artist Heejin Jang graduated from San Francisco Art Institute in 2013 and has lived, exhibited and performed around the globe. Currently based in South Korea’s capital city Seoul, she arranges and synthesizes sonic spaces that draw from the everyday, manipulating distorted field recordings and samples found online into dense and unsettling digital storm clouds. She has released her work via Doom Trip, Heavy Mess and Muzan Editions, among other labels.
