Moonilena is Stockholm based composer, DJ and musician Marlena Salonen, who also releases music as Mar-llena and co-runs Moloton. Layering experiments in FM synthesis with manipulated field recordings, her debut album Minnet is drawn from material composed for the acoustics of an abandoned iron ore mine. Recently she has also collaborated with artist Lap-See Lam and composer Linus Hillborg on a series of audiovisual multichannel installations.
