French electronic producer Sylvain Dessagne aka Sunareht's new concept album Amorama is a fictional place; “like an amusement arcade of the future where VR headsets and biometric gizmos squeeze out every drop of serotonin from your body”, says Chal Ravens, in her feature on the artist in The Wire 447.
Inspired by relationships and miscommunication, romance and clubbing, Amorama (released via Paradoxe Club, the label Dessagne co-founded in 2016) is a multimedia project that will also see the launch of a website, featuring animated visuals for every track. “OS Aventure” is a bonus track which visitors to the website will be able to find in one of its 'rooms'.
Read about Paradoxe Club's past ventures, Sunareht's hopes for a reemerging club scene, and the producer's approach to music making in Chal Ravens' interview in The Wire 447. Subscribers can access the interview via the digital archive.
Amorama is released via Paradoxe Club. The Amorama website will launch on 17 May.
