"Clusters, Silences, Tension And Release" is an exclusive new recording by the UK guitarist

Veteran UK improvising guitarist Ian Brighton returned to the studio for the first time in a decade in the early 2010s , and his 2016 Confront album Now And Then was his first solo album since 1977’s Bead LP Marsh Gas. Over the years he's played and recorded alongside Philipp Wachsmann, Marcio Mattos, Trevor Taylor, Radu Malfatti and many more, and formed part of the groups Balance and Alternative Music Orchestra.

Brighton is set to perform live in the UK this summer for the first time in years, at a fundraiser for the Brighton Alternative Jazz Festival on 7 July; Cafe OTO, London as part of String Thing, with Phil Wachsmann, Trevor Taylor and Marcios Mattos (14 August)
