While establishing themselves as one of Copenhagen's foremost DJ collectives, the all-female Apeiron Crew also moved into production with the group's Emma Blake (Solid Blake) and Najaaraq Vestbirk (Courtesy) creating "Submarine", one of the first tracks they have made together.

Tyler Friedman is a sound artist, composer and producer whose activities include collaborating with The Otolith Group and working with Andreas Greiner on an installation called Multitudes. His music is released by the Swedish label Kontra-Musik.

Maria W Horn
"Deserted But Not Uninhabited"

The Swedish composer and experimental film maker Maria W Horn produced "Deserted But Not Uninhabited" as a commission for Swedish Radio for Arts. Following her studies in electroacoustic composition at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and Universität der Künste in Berlin, she co-founded the tape label XKatedral. She has also been involved in the Sthlm Drone Society, a collective investigating "slowly evolving tonal music".

Las CasiCasiotone are the Asturias born duo of Ana Quiroga and Uge Pañeda. Since releasing their debut album on the Vienna based Editions Mego label, they have taken up residency at Stockholm's EMS (see The Wire 365), which gives them the opportunity to work on the institution’s Buchla 200e and Serge synthesizers for their next release.

Peder Mannerfelt
"Beyond Nothing, Forest"

Peder Mannerfelt has already proved to be one of the most diverse artists on the Swedish experimental music scene. Though he has just released his third solo album Controlling Body on his own label Peder Mannerfelt Productions, the Roll The Dice player and Fever Ray producer offers the unreleased track "Beyond Nothing, Forest" as a Wire exclusive.

The Danish industrial techno producer SØS has just released her first solo EP AFTRYK on Samuel Kerridge's Contort label, but her resumé already includes a collaboration with Cristian Vogel (as SGR^CAV), installation work and video game sound design, as well as performances at Berlin Atonal and other international music festivals.

Detlef Weinrich is a former member of the 1990s electronica/avant rock ensemble Kreidler from Düsseldorf. Be it through his own musical output or as resident DJ at Düsseldorf’s Salon Des Amateurs, he’s a purveyor of glistening synth pop.

Following his work on the now defunct Sandwell District label, techno musician Rrose went on to launch Eaux in 2011, through which he releases his own music along with his collaborations with artists such as Bob Ostertag and Tujurikkuja.
