“I’m attracted to bad taste,” declares Lawrence Dunn, speaking to Robert Barry in The Wire 421. The pianist and percussionist uses “refusals” and “the company of obnoxious ideas” to help him write his experimental and playful works. The 28 year old's online discography dates back to 2009, though this playlist showcases examples of his most recent works, with “Set Of Four” and “Disappointment Rondeau” being more representative of his current practice.
