Experimental hiphop collective True Neutral Crew are assembled from the diverse roster of Santa Maria, California label Deathbomb Arc whose back catalogue includes releases by Signor Benedick The Moor, Julia Holter, Ed Balloon, Girl Pusher, E&E aka Elysia Crampton, Yellow Swans, Death Grips and Foot Village.
The Crew's debut album Soft Rules is described by the label as a collection of “nuanced and psychedelic rap tracks perfect for sluggish, drugged-out hot summers” and is centred around songs by Signor Benedick The Moor, Margot Padilla and Brian Kinsman (ex-Foot Village/Gang Wizard) with additional contributions from clipping. rapper Daveed Diggs and former BLKHRTS member Yo! – who provides production on the above track “Secrets”.
The CD edition of the album includes a bonus disc featuring mixtapes and one-off tracks, with guest appearances from the likes of The Soft Pink Truth (aka Drew Daniel of Matmos) and Brian Chippendale of Lightning Bolt.

Anyone know if the 2cd version of Soft Rules is going to be available in the United Kingdom, it's on the Deathbomb Arc website but you may get hit with import duties. It's a lovely bit of stuff.
