Listen: Global Ear Kowloon tracks
June 2013

Paul Margree's Global Ear: Kowloon article, looks at Hong Kong's underground music makers, and its newest space dedicated to experimental music, Culture Industries Associated (CIA), in The Wire 353.
Based in a disused industrial block in mainland Kowloon, CIA was opened in late 2012 by Xper.Xr, a seasoned outsider musician who released Hong Kong's first Industrial Noise recording, Murmur, in 1989: "I wanted a place where a few different things could happen, a place for exhibitions, seminars, workshops, film clubs and gigs."
