Listen: Áine O'Dwyer's expanded Music For Church Cleaners
February 2015

Stream a selection of tracks from the extended version of the harpist's improvised organ recordings
Over the course of several months, Áine O'Dwyer was given access to the pipe organ in St Mark’s Church, Islington while the cleaners were at work. Primarily a harpist, for this release she played and recorded organ improvisations live, which loosely use a graphic score (included in the vinyl release). The album was recorded while cleaners were working in the church, who requested that she not stay on one note too long.
These tracks are from the expanded Music For Church Cleaners Vol I & II, which is released on MIE Music. The original Music For Church Cleaners was released by Fort Evil Fruit as a single cassette volume.
