“80 minutes of couch-optimised psychedelics” mixed by Jahtari collective founder Disrupt
“This mix looks at dub and psychedelic music through the lens of electronic music pioneers, children's TV soundtracks and mushroom culture,” says Jan Gleichmar aka Disrupt. In a recent interview with The Wire's Chal Ravens, the Leipzig based dub producer explains how his long running 8-bit computer game inspired label Jahtari is drawing to a natural end and discusses future plans. Included in this selection are two tracks by Namahage, forthcoming on Gleichmar's new imprint Zonedog, as well as a track from his own recent solo release The Recreation Room.
