Wire Mix: Outernational Days
June 2017

Outernational Days
Dragoș Rusu, organiser of Romania's Outernational Days festival, has recorded a mix exclusively for The Wire
Outernational Days takes place between 7–9 July in Bucharest, Romania. This year will be the second edition and will present a variety of Romanian artists such as Diana Miron, Khidja and manele singer Florin Salam, as well as a host of international acts including Mark Ernestus' Ndagga Rhythm Force, Les Filles De Illighadad, Traxx and Toresch.
Rusu's mix features “Romanian music from different parts of the country and from different times,” he tells us. “Some tracks were released on cassettes only; many of them are quite obscure.” He adds, “Many thanks to Victor Plastic for the contributions”.
