Wire Mix: Sofheso

September 2020

Japanese producer Toru Iioka presents a mix featuring music by Fis, Container, Ursula Bogner, and more. Plus: stream an exclusive track taken the artist's forthcoming album

Following the 2018 release of a collection of tracks spanning prolific producer Sofheso's sprawling digital back catalogue between 2014–17, the Tokyo based artist is about to release an album of brand new material. A RECORD (記録) will be available from 25 September via London based label First Terrace. Listen to exclusive track “HU16” below.

Ahead of the album release, Iioka – who is also resident performer at Tokyo's Forest Limit club – has recorded a new mix for The Wire featuring other artists who similarly explore the more abstract, noise-driven side of techno.
