Edward George: Black Atlas

–New film from founding member of the Black Audio Film Collective who is also known for his live audio essays. The film is a "poetic image essay" narrated by George and using images from the "Image of the Black" archive. The film also includes an improvised soundtrack made made in response to the images by Crystabel Riley and Seymour Wright. George will present a live performance-lecture entitled The Strangeness Of Warburg using sound, narrative, and improvisation to explore Black cultural memory (23 October, free/ticketed).
