The Sonic Turn

–Two day international sound studies conference with theorists and artists exploring topics including surveillance, the sounds of war, listening as a decolonial practice, sound and collective memory, and sonic activism. Particiapating artists include Ian Nagoski, Salomé Voegelin and Manja Ristić. The conference is preceded by a concert featuring experimental and improvisational transcultural music from AL.Ehtifal Project, Praed and Yunis (The Attic, 1 November).
