A trailer for Copyright Criminals: This Is a Sampling Sport, a forthcoming documentary on sampling in hiphop and the subsequent (and ongoing) legal repercussions. Featuring a healthy list of hiphop luminaries such as Chuck D, De La Soul, DJ Qbert and Mix Master Mike, the film also includes those who have had their work sampled extensively, most notably George Clinton and Clyde Stubblefield, James Brown's "Funky Drummer". The documentary is set for cinema release in the States sometime in Spring 2009.
