Little information is available about this elusive producer who is rooted firmly in Bristol's history of murky dubstep and dark, sultry sonic palettes. To date, the producer has had a steady release schedule which has seen him release on his own label of the same name, BRSTL, Happy Skull, Ancient Monarchy and Blackest Ever Black offshoot A14. A longstanding patron and parental figure in the development of record shop and label Idle Hands, Circulation marks Rhythmic Theory's debut LP.
”We set up the BRSTL label together,” explains Chris Farrell, the Idle Hands boss and old friend of the producer. “He has been instrumental behind the scenes in helping new producers and lending a hand with mix downs. Both of us have always been keen on pushing what we do here in the west country, trying to encourage some sense of 'scene'. These days he is happiest in the studio as he prefers his slippers to going raving.”
Circulation LP will be released on 3 June by Idle Hands.
