Hecker Leckey Sound Voice Chimera comes from a 2010 collaboration between musician Florian Hecker and multidisciplinary artist Mark Leckey. They originally worked together during a two day performance event at London's Tate Modern called Push And Pull, and the Pan label has now released the results of their collaboration on vinyl.

It consists of a purposeful collision between Leckey's video work GreenScreenRefrigeratorAction – in which he imagined the inner monologue of a black Samsung fridge – and Hecker's 3 Channel Chronics interactive sound installation. Here the latter was used to decompose, modulate and resynthesize Leckey's vocal track.
