Iggor Cavalera

The annual Berlin based festival celebrates its upcoming edition with a selection of countercultural Latin sounds mixed by Brazilian drummer Iggor Cavalera and grindcore band TEST

Now in its sixth year, the digital platform and music festival Radical Sounds Latin America will present its 2024 edition of live shows, performances, screenings, dialogues and celebrations at various venues across Berlin between 17–22 November. This year, the festival’s discourse programme is Sound Systems Architectures: Assemblages, Environments And Happenings, which will explore sonic street technologies and their diverse scenes across Latin America and its diaspora.

The programme includes a new collaboration between drummer Iggor Cavalera (from Brazilian metal band Sepultura) and grindcore band TEST, as well as a set from Chilean artist Nicolás Jaar, and DJs including TOCCORORO, AMANTRA, Edna Martínez and Bclip.

This mix has been created specially for The Wire by Iggor Cavalera and TEST.
