Watch Alexander Tucker’s Swamp Thing-inspired video for “His Arm Has Grown Long” from new album Dorwytch.

Tucker has said that Alan Moore was one of his key influences on Dorwytch, an album three years in the making which features Ulver's Daniel O'Sullivan, vocalist Jess Bryant and drummer Paul May. This video for “His Arm Has Grown Long” takes a low budget look at Moore’s Swamp Thing character, via solarised images of men in furry suits clutching steaming hunks of rock in autumnal woodland and grimy lock ups. The track is available for download from the Thrill Jockey site.

Dorwytch is out on Thrill Jockey, and is reviewed by Jennifer Lucy Allan in The Wire 327.
