Artist Charles-André Coderre has made a video for Mondkopf and Charbel Haber's new record

“Shot on black and white 16mm film, “Fortune Telling Breeze” takes place in Varanasi (Benares), India”, says Montréal based film editor Charles-André Coderre, who is also responsible for visuals in the musical group Jerusalem In My Heart. “It's a meditation on granularity of the photographic film. Filming in extreme close-up, the picture is just as ephemeral as the anonymous passers-by.”

This video has been created for a track from They Promised Us A Bright Future, We Were Content With An Obscure Past, the debut release by Good Luck In Death, a new collaboration between French electronic producer Paul Régimbeau aka Mondkopf and Lebanese musician and composer Charbel Haber. The pair met after being invited to play with French collective Oiseaux-Tempête, who will release their latest LP via Sub Rosa on 15 June.

Good Luck In Death's record will be released via Nahal, a young imprint set up by Mondkopf and multi-instrumentlaist and photographer Frédéric D. Oberland, also a member of Oiseaux-Tempête.
