Watch the Musarc choir performing Tape Music by Lin Chi-Wei in advance of their performance at Wysing Polyphonic

This year's edition of the music festival at Wysing Arts Centre in Cambrdgeshire, Wysing Polyphonic, is the first time the festival will be all-acoustic. Musicians and artists will perform with no backing tracks, amplification, microphones, laptops or other electronics. Performances will include everything from choral experimentation to spoken word improv and pieces using ancient instruments, and the lineup includes David Toop, Adam Bohman, Evan Parker, Jennifer Walshe, Rie Nakajima, Verity Susman, Laura Cannell, Sam Belinfante and many more.

In a preview of their performance at the festival, the Musarc choir performs Lin Chi-Wei's Tape Music, while sitting in a cluster of chairs and singing the syllables printed on a paper loop that they pass from person to person.

Wysing Polyphonic takes place on 2 July.
