The resurgent Philadelphia born singer-songwriter shares a video ahead of two new releases
“I don’t think of music as an art form – music is me,” says Beverly Glenn-Copeland, speaking to Joshua Minsoo-Kim in The Wire 439 about Transmissions, a major new collection of Glenn-Copeland compositions to be released by Transgressive on 25 September. The album features 13 tracks selected from various points in the new age artist's career dating as far back as 1970.
This featured composition “Sunset Village” was originally recorded in 1986 and is now a part of Glenn's recently rejuvenated live set, following a decades’ long hiatus from performing. “Sunset Village” is also included on a new live album, recorded at Utrecht's Le Guess Who? Festival in 2018, to be released by Transgressive on 26 August.
