The South African duo share a live version of an exclusive track

Self-proclaimed future folk artists dumama (Gugulethu Duma) and kechou (Kerim Melik Becker) released their debut album Buffering Juju in March 2020. Inspired by the idea of a woman walking out of prison and into the wilderness, the record fuses the sounds of North and South African instruments and traditional singing with electronics and field recordings, and plays with sampling and effects. Buffering Juju also features contributions from several other musicians, such as Angel Bat Dawid, Dylan Greene and Odwa Bongo.

This performance took place at Kilohertz in Berlin, March 2020. It was filmed by Tristan Schneider and edited by Kerim Melik Becker.
