A 40 minute improvisation from Trestle Records' ongoing One Day Band series of recordings and events

On 24 August Trestle Records presented a live version of their One Day Band recording series at London's Cafe Oto, featuring two improvisations from groups who had never performed together before. Band one consisted of Kuljit Bhamra, Evelyn Glennie and Charles Hayward, and other brought together Sam Beste, Dean Valentine Smith and Bex Burch

This video captures the performance by percussionist Glennie, drummer Hayward and tabla player Bhamra.

Future recordings for One Day Band include John Tilbury with Martin Clarke (and the seagulls of Kent coastal town Deal); Peter Zummo with Bex Burch; and Graham Dunning with Benedict Taylor.
