The London festival shares an exclusive recording of an extended solo performance by the late Deep Listening pioneer

Directed by Miles Umney for the arts magazine thisistomorrow, the video captures Pauline Oliveros performing a solo improvisation on digital accordion at the 2015 edition of London Contemporary Music Festival. This was the third instalment of the annual event and the first to take place at Ambika P3, a bunker underneath the University of Westminster.

As part of the upcoming 2017 edition, LCMF will screen The Sluts And Goddesses Video Workshop – Or How To Be A Sex Goddess In 101 Easy Steps (1992), a film directed by the artist Annie Sprinkle and feminist porn experimenter Maria Beatty, and featuring a score by Oliveros. The screening will take place on 8 December. Tickets are available online.
