Pharmakon aka Margaret Chardiet premieres the sticky, viscous video clip for her new track “Somatic” via The Wire

Pharmakon aka Margaret Chardiet has collaborated with Latex Lucifer on a new video for the track “Somatic” from her new album Contact.

"Somatic is our interpretation of the mind attempting to leave its vessel. An infusion of latex, viscous fluids and bodies shown in its raw and simple form," explains Latex Lucifer.

In her review of Contact in The Wire 398, Maya Kalev says Chardiet “goes for the emotional rather than literal jugular, aiming to better embody that exchange between performer and audience by taking the state of trance – or ecstasy – as a structuring device”.

Contact is released by Sacred Bones on 31 March. Pharmakon begins her 2017 tour in April, visit the Sacred Bones website for details
