Ignis will be released on Cosmo Rhythmatic on 29 June

Ignis is a new six track EP of collaborative material by the late Finnish electronic producer Mika Vainio and French composer and performer Franck Vigroux. Prior to Ignis the pair released Léger Soleil on Cosmo Rhythmatic in 2015.

The majority of the tracks on the release were recorded in Vigroux's studio in the south of France. “We did a session just before we were due to play a small festival called Les Instants Sonores in Mende (France 2013), that doesn't exist anymore”, explains the artist. “There are also some materials recorded later in Berlin in 2014 when we met for another session.”

The video is made by visual artist Antoine Schmitt.
