Young Echo are interviewed as part of The Wire 355 cover feature by Rory Gibb, looking at new Bristolian bass collectives.

There are nine members of the Young Echo collective: Sam Barrett (Neek), Amos Childs (Jabu/Zhou) Cris Ebdon (Zhou), Seb Gainsborough (aka Vessel), Sam Kidel (El Kid), Joseph McGann (Khan), Paul Zaba, plus MCs Jack Richardson, and Alex Rendell (Jabu).

The group operate out of Bristol, releasing 12"s, cassettes and mixes under various pseudonyms, responsible for some of Bristol’s most exploratory music since the city rewrote dubstep’s rulebook in the second half of the last decade.
