Watch the music video for “V”, taken from Silver Waves’ forthcoming EP3

Silver Waves aka Dylan Mallett is a UK based musician currently living in the South West spa town Bath. His first two recordings – EP1 and EP2 – were released by Howling Owl Records’ affiliated art collective bulb. He followed it with Gargoyle/Elygrag, which he made available via Bandcamp.

The video for “V” was made in collaboration with programmer Yans Lee.

“The aim of the video,” explains Mallett via email, “was to create an austere digital environment using Pure Data patches which reflected the harsh and aggressive electronics of the song, as well as the almost entirely digital means by which it was created.”

“V” is taken from Silver Waves’ EP3, which will be jointly released in July by Bristol's Howling Owl Records and Berlin's Portal Editions.
