In October, Australian jazz trio The Necks will release their 20th full length album, Disquiet. Ahead of its release, The Wire presents an exclusive stream of one of the four tracks from the album, “Warm Running Sunlight”.

Reviewing Disquiet in The Wire 500, Bill Meyer comments that the track “rewards deep listeners with subliminal dissonances and a simultaneously spare and intricate cymbal sequence that defies efforts at decoding”.
