Zed-U is bassist Neil Charles, clarinettist Shabaka Hutchings and drummer Tom Skinner. Hutchings is featured in an article by Clive Bell in The Wire 332, and will be performing at the forthcoming Just Not Cricket! festival of British improvisation in Berlin (6–8 October).
