Gordian Twine is Pitsiokos's first album as leader, but in the past few years the New York based saxophonist has worked with a wide variety of musicians, including Lydia Lunch, electronic musician Philip White and drummer Weasel Walter. Johnson has prevously worked with Kirk Knuffke and Federico Ughi, and Shea with Mostly Other People Do the Killing and Talibam! among others.
Gordian Twine is released by New Atlantis records on 10 July
