Pomegranate is a new album by cornetist Stephen Haynes. It was recorded by a quintet consisting of guitarist Joe Morris and percussionist Warren Smith – who also play in Parrhesia, a trio with Haynes – augmented by bassist William Parker and tubaist Ben Stapp.
The album is dedicated to the memory of trumpeter Bill Dixon, who died in 2010. It's released on 9 June by New Atlantis.
