Robinson In Ruins

Film maker Patrick Keiller has made a new movie Robinson In Ruins. It's a sequel to his London (1994) and Robinson In Space (1997) film essays that investigated the political and cultural landscapes of London and England. Robinson In Ruins, which is narrated by Vanessa Redgrave, follows the journeys of Robinson, a mysterious scholar, in and around Oxford. Robinson In Ruins was made as part of a project titled The Future Of Landscape And The Moving Image and premiered at the Venice Film Biennale in September 2010. It will have its first UK screening at the BFI London Film Festival in October with a wider theatrical release set for 19 November.
