Breadwoman gets Heatsick on tour in February

Heatsick's Steven Warwick will perform with Anna Homler in the live incarnation of Breadwoman

Following The Wire's stream of Anna Homler and Steve Moshier’s forthcoming Breadwoman & Other Tales, it has been announced that Homler will be touring the project with Steven Warwick, otherwise known as Heatsick.

Originally recorded in 1985, Breadwoman & Other Tales saw Homler in musical dialogue with electroacoustic composer and LA avant garde contemporary Steve Moshier on a set of otherworldly spirituals sung in an invented language.

This live incarnation will feature the US vocalist and performance artist Homler practicing this divining speech with Warwick acting as her modern-day accomplice.

The project will debut on 5 February at this year's CTM festival, with following performances at London Cafe Oto (9), Glasgow The Glad Cafe (11) and Cardiff Chapter Arts Centre (13). Breadwoman & Other Tales is released on 5 February via ReRVNG.
