Arne Nordheim: First Performance Of Vevnad Since 1993

This spring Norwegian composer Arne Nordheim's Vevnad will be performed for the first time since 1993. The piece will be performed in Oslo by Hans Josef Groh on cello, Sverre Riise on trombone and Asbjørn Blokkum Flø at the helm of the Disklavier. The Vevnad recital forms the closing event of the exhibition Forms Of Modern Life and was originally composed as a tribute to Hannah Ryggen, whose work is part of the Forms Of Modern Life exhibit.
