In May next year the Barbican will be hosting The Sun Ra Arkestra, to celebrate the centenary of Sun Ra's birth and Marshall Allen's 90th birthday. The Arkestra play on 31 May next year, and a psychedelic lighting show will be provided by Mystic Lights (who count in their line up Pink Floyd's original lighting director Peter Wynne-Willson).
