London Contemporary Music Festival returns this December

This December London Contemporary Music Festival returns for its fourth event

London Contemporary Music Festival returns this December with its fourth event in three years. Held at Ambika P3 development space at the University of Westminster, the festival promises seven days of music and performance.

Notable firsts include the UK debut of Pieta from Karlheinz Stockhausen’s Dienstag Aus Licht, London based producer and Pan collaborator Visionist performing his new audiovisual project, Jennifer Walshe’s new work Total Mountain, and the first UK performance of Ethiopian composer and pianist Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou. The programme also features a night dedicated to US West Coast music, including performances from San Francisco Tape Music Center founders Pauline Oliveros and Morton Subotnick, as well as a world premiere of sound artist Chris Watson’s multi-channel installation Okeanos. The line-up also includes David Toop, James Ferraro, EEK featuring Islam Chipsy, Ellen Fullman, Chris Watson, Stephen O’Malley, Shelley Parker, Aisha Orazbayeva, and more.
