Elliot Sharp is to play a rare solo show in London. Here’s what the promoters of the gig say about him: Combining the naked freedom of jazz improvisation and the alien crunch of digital mechanisms, his visionary music draws upon chaos theory and fractals while reinventing a variety of traditional instruments: electric guitars, synthesizers, saxophones & clarinets, leading to his use of computers and samplers to design new sounds and virtual instruments.
