The Wire’s Invisible Jukebox goes live in Berlin

Ableton Loop returns in November with Ben Frost set to undergo The Wire test where musicians are asked to comment on tracks with no prior knowledge of what they're about to hear

Ableton's Loop Summit will take place at Berlin Funkhaus from 10–12 November. Happening over three days, the summit is essentially an ideas exchange involving a series of discussions, performances, presentations, studio sessions, installations and interactive workshops. The programme includes presentations by Goldie, Jenny Hval, Katie Gately, Laurel Halo, Machinedrum and Susan Rogers, talks with Abayomi, Jowaa, Ski Oakenfull and Stro Elliot, and various audio demonstrations with Butterz, Discwoman, JD Twitch and many others. A full list of what's going on can be found at their website.

And from 2:15–3:30pm on 12 November The Wire Contributing Editor Frances Morgan will conduct an onstage version of our regular print feature Invisible Jukebox, with Ben Frost in the hot seat, in Funkhaus Main Recording Hall
