Watershed Bristol: Artist Residency Showcase

Later this week Watershed in Bristol will be showcasing their artist's residencies for 2011. The evening will include two film screenings, a panel discussion, and a performance of a work in progress. Projects at Watershed involve collaborations between artists, dancers, choreographers and musicians, with a focus on experimentation with technology.

This year's residents include The Guerilla Dance Project by composer Tim Bamber, choreographer Laura Kriefman, and designer Robin Ray. The project uses mobile technology to add generative sound to everyday objects, with sound generated by the movement of dancers. Watch a video intro to the Guerilla Dance Project below. Bristol Watershed, 9 June, 6:30pm, free.
