Borbetomagus documentary screening this November

Jef Merten's Borbetomagus film A Pollock Of Sound rough cut finished

Borbetomagus docu-film A Pollock Of Sound is now screening across Europe. Made from footage shot in the Netherlands in 2010 and in the US and Canada in 2011, the film was put on hold after the cancellation of the group’s 2013 tour. Director Jef Merten shared a rough edit of part one with us back in December 2013, explaining, “after the cancellation of the Borbetomagus European tour – which would have allowed me to finish getting the footage I needed – this documentary was put on hold, though not given up in any way”. The full version of the film about the noise trio is now being screened at various venues throughout Europe this November. The first screening took place at Tusk Festival in early October, with future ones happening at Instants Chavirés, Montreuil (11 November); Les Aterliers Claus, Brussels (12); OCCII, Amsterdam (13); Cinepalace, Kortrijk (14) and Cave 12, Geneva (15).
