Pinch and Bass Clef play Robocop soundtrack for The Cube fundraiser

The Cube in Bristol is fundraising to buy the building it is based in, hosting a one night event of music and film soundtracks. As part of the night's events, Tectonic label boss Pinch will be performing the soundtrack to Robocop with Bass Clef. Also on the bill are a raft of Bristol stalwarts: groups Goan Dogs (playing Edward Scissorhands), I Know I Have No Collar soundtracking art films by Hal Hartley, and Francois (of The Atlas Mountains) performing a soundtrack to Claude Lelouch's Un Homme Et Une Femme, plus local supergroup The Greatness Of The Magnificence Orchestra (a 30 piece orchestra led by Jesse Vernon) playing Ennio Morricone.

The Cube was given a 15 year lease in 1998 which is now expiring. The collective which run the venue now want to buy the building. Don't Look Now takes place at the Bristol Old Vic on 6 September. More details and tickets here.
