George Clinton At The British Library

George Clinton will be appearing at the British Library on 18 June, to talk about "all things galactic". Also speaking will be Nona Hendryx from Labelle, accompanied by film of Janelle Monae – described as the heiress to Clinton's legacy – and her ArchAndroid alter ego. The talk is part of the Out Of This World exhibition at the British Library, which looks at how science fiction has influenced scientific discovery. The event kicks off at 2pm with a screening of John Akomfrah's documentary The Last Angel Of History, which features Clinton, Derek May, DJ Spooky and others. London British Library, 18 June, 2–5pm, £7.50/£5.
