Italy's sustainable festival is set to happen between 1–3 July.
Italy’s sustainable music festival Terraforma will take place at Villa Arconati, just outside of Milan, from 1–3 July. Artists so far confirmed for this year’s third edition include Charlemagne Palestine, Biosphere, Adrian Sherwood, Donato Dozzy, Lee Gamble, Healing Force Project, Francesco Cavaliere and Paquita Gordon, with more names to be added.
A predominently camping based festival, the enviromentally friendly Terraforma will also feature a series of talks and a selection of locally sourced food that’ll be on offer throughout the weekend. “This year the sustainability of the festival will focus on a huge project of restoring a labyrinth which existed originally in the Villa around the 18th century,” outlines the festival's press officer Ludovica Fecarotta. “The guys found an old map with the labyrinth in it and they are developing the project on a three year schedule.” As well as the festival's usual diamond shaped eco stage, an Arena stage will be added to the performance spaces, with other surprises promised.
