Fylkingen opening Stockholm record shop

Swedish experimental arts and music society Fylkingen is opening a record shop in Stockholm on 8 September. The shop will be run by Joachim Nordwall (of iDEAL Records and the Skull Defekts) and Swedish artist Daniel Rozenhall.

Nordwall says: "Fylkingen is a place for the stage arts, but we wanted to broaden the horizons a little bit. As shops close down one by one we felt that something must be done. Also, on a personal level, we love record shops and need somewhere to hang out ourselves."

The shop will be open on Thursdays and Fridays, but Nordwall says they will open the doors at other times if you make an appointment. Along with iDEAL and Fylkingen releases, the shop will also be carrying records from Editions RZ, Touch, Tesco, Firework, Alga Marghen, Dekorder, Die Schachtel, Editions Mego, Dirter, Pogus, Soleilmoon, Elektron, Börft, and Release The Bats, among others.
