Norient magazine shuts down and reopens as a more “forward-thinking” virtual space
The Swiss organisation Norient is in the process of reinventing itself as Norient Space: The Now In Sound, a virtual transdisciplinary gallery and community platform presenting texts, podcasts, films, photographs and hypermedia art by hundreds of thinkers and artists from all continents. It's set to be “more political, deep, playful and experimental”, says the Norient team.
Currently seeking donations, it’s selling founding memberships for a fee starting at €100. “Only together as a vital community platform with dedicated membership, can we defy algorithms and filter bubbles,” declares its new manifesto.
