Drexciya film Hydra Decapita screening at Tate St Ives

Tate St Ives is currently showing The Otolith Group's Drexciya film Hydra Decapita, which uses footage shot in Cornwall, and takes the mythos of Drexciya's subaquatic survivors of slavery as a starting point. The film has never had an official screening in the UK before. It forms part of the exhibition Aquatopia, which includes work by a cross section of artists including Spartacus Chetwynd and JMW Turner. Aquatopia runs at Tate St Ives until 26 January 2014.
