Helm announces new LP on Pan and shares track “I Knew You Would Respond”

Chemical Flowers features string arrangements by JG Thirlwell aka Foetus

Luke Younger’s new LP as Helm is called Chemical Flowers and it will be released by Pan next month. The album shares a similar vision of the urban environment as its 2015 predecessor Olympic Mess.

The core of the album was made by Younger working alone at No studio in the Essex countryside. It also features string parts arranged and recorded by JG Thirlwell aka Foetus, with additional cello from Lucinda Chua and saxophone from Karl D’Silva.

Listen to the lead track “I Knew You Would Respond”. Chemical Flowers is released on 17 May.
